Broward County: Jason Roseman pleas to LWOP
Last week, Roseman pled guilty to two counts of first-degree murder in exchange for the State agreeing to drop the death penalty.
Jason Roseman was charged with killing his girlfriend, her daughter, and their dog in 2019. The State sought the death penalty.
In preparation for trial, the defense filed several motions challenging the death penalty and Florida’s capital sentencing statute.
Last week, Roseman pled guilty to all charges in exchange for the State agreeing to drop the death penalty. Roseman was sentenced to life in prison without parole (LWOP) on both charges for first-degree murder.
