Florida Supreme Court May Oral Arguments

On Thursday, May 8, at approximately 9:40 a.m., the Court will hear argument on Daniel Craven’s pending claims. The case was previously scheduled for OA in March but was continued to this month.
Craven was convicted of first-degree murder for murdering John Anderson in June 2015.
Craven challenges the lower court’s denial of his postconviction claims, raising several issues related to ineffective of assistance of trial counsel. Craven also raises a claim that the State elicited and failed to correct false testimony at trial. You can access the docket for this case here.
