December 10
Wilson v. State
Mark Wilson was sentenced to death in early 2023 following a jury’s unanimous recommendation for death. This is his direct appeal. The docket for his case can be accessed here.
Williams v. State
Donald Otis Williams was resentenced to death in 2023. This is his direct appeal. The docket for his case can be accessed here.
December 11
Allen v. State
Scottie Allen was sentenced to death in 2019. In this argument, the Court will hear his appeal from the circuit court’s denial of his initial request for postconviction relief and his separate petition for writ of habeas corpus. Demas v. State
Mesac Demas was sentenced to death in 2017. This is his appeal from the circuit court’s denial of his initial request for postconviction relief. The docket can be accessed here.

Hunt v. State

Jackson v. State
Michael Jackson was resentenced to death in 2023 following a jury’s recommendation for death by a vote of 8-4.
