Leon County: Aaron Glee sentenced to LWOP
Following a deal with the State in two separate cases, Aaron Glee was sentenced yesterday to life in prison without parole for two murders that occurred in 2020.
In 2020, Aaron Glee was indicted in two separate cases for one count of first-degree murder—one for the murder of Victoria Sims and one for the murder of Oluwatoyin Salau.

Court records suggest that Glee (and his attorneys) and the State had reached a plea deal in early 2023. However, according to a news report and court records, Glee rejected the plea deal at a hearing in January, telling the court he wanted to go to trial.
Neither of the dockets indicate any litigation related to the applicability of the 2023 capital sentencing statute between its enactment in April and June.
In June, Glee entered a guilty plea in both cases. In exchange for his pleas, the State agreed to take the death penalty off the table.
Yesterday, the trial court entered a judgment and sentence in each case consistent with the pleas from June. Glee was sentenced to life in prison without the possibility of parole for both murders, among other sentences for other charges.
