ZAKRZEWSKI WARRANT: Circuit Court Scheduling Order

Edward Zakrzewski’s execution is scheduled for July 31 at 6:00 p.m.

On July 2, the day after Gov. DeSantis signed the death warrant, the circuit court in Okaloosa County held a case management conference via Zoom.

Following the case management conference, the circuit court entered an Order setting forth the following schedule:

• July 3 at 6:00 p.m.: The Department of Corrections shall provide Zakrzewski’s past 10 years of records to defense counsel.

• July 3 at 3:00 p.m.: Any additional public records requests due

• July 7 at 2:00 p.m.: Objections to public records demands due

• July 8 at 9:00 a.m.: Hearing on public records requests

• July 8 at 1:00 p.m.: Order on public records requests

• July 8 at 5:00 p.m.: Compliance with all public records requests required

• July 9 at 2:00 p.m.: Successive postconviction motion due

• July 10 at 9:00 a.m.: State’s response to postconviction motion due

• July 10 at 2:00 p.m.: Case management conference (Huff hearing)

• July 10 at 4:00 p.m.: Order on second case management conference

• July 11 at 9:00 a.m.: Evidentiary hearing, if granted

• July 14 at 11:00 a.m.: Order on postconviction motion
