Brevard County: Brian Peters pleas to LWOP
On Wednesday (Jan. 31), Brian Peters pled guilty and accepted a sentence of life in prison without parole (LWOP).
In April 2021, Brian Peters was indicted by grand jury for first-degree murder and other charges.
The State had indicated that it would file a Notice of Intent to Seek the Death Penalty.1 However, prior to the State doing so, the State accepted a plea deal with Peters.
On Wednesday (Jan. 31), Peters pled guilty and accepted a sentence of life in prison without parole (LWOP).
Peters’ sentence runs concurrent with a life sentence he received in Pennsylvania for related convictions.
