Have all the 4 inmates who have received death warrants recently applied for Executive Clemency? If not, then that should be mandatory so the inmate's counsel knows that a possible warrant is imminent. Maybe a 45 day death warrant period would be more suitable for counsel for the inmate and the state as well as the courts.

I know for sure Darryl Barwick had applied for executive clemency, and that process was the focus of his final federal claims--which were denied just before his execution. The death warrant served as the clemency board's decision according to a news article:

Barwick had a clemency interview in 2021, and an attorney subsequently submitted an application to commute the death sentence, according to a document filed last week in federal court. The document said DeSantis, in signing the death warrant this month, denied clemency.
