My thoughts are with everyone involved in the warrant- and execution-related process.
I have brought holy communion to Thomas several times during the past 8 years volunteering on death row. He has developed into a kind,God loving man, during his 30 yrs of incarceration. His childhood was horrific. Like many of the men on death row., suffered innumerably during their development and never had a chance at living life with any normality or moral clarity.
Murdering these men achieves nothing. More often than not the victims families do not attend the grotesque execution. Judgement is left to God. Prayers to all who are effected by these tragedies.
