The Florida Supreme Court has denied Gaskin's final claims and set a schedule for Barwick's warrant litigation. Also, Crosley Green has been ordered to return to prison.

Scheduling Order
On April 4, 2023, the Supreme Court of Florida entered a scheduling order in Barwick’s case, outlining the following:
Matters in the trial court must be completed by April 13, 2023.
Any Notice of Appeal must be filed by 9:00 a.m. on Friday, April 14, 2023. The record shall be filed by 3:00 p.m. that day.
The initial brief is due by 3:00 p.m. on April 18, 2023.
The answer brief is due by 3:00 p.m. on April 20, 2023.
The reply brief is due by 3:00 p.m. on Friday, April 21, 2023.
Legislation Update
The Senate’s capital sex crime bill will be heard in the Rules Committee at 8:30 a.m. on Tuesday, April 11.

Crosley Green
After a ruling by the U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals from the Eleventh Circuit overturned the trial court’s decision vacating his conviction, Mr. Green has been ordered to return to prison for the rest of his life, as reported by the Washington Post. The prior post on his story has the background.
